Labor Day Vacation Day 1

A friend of mine had a vacation house she could not use. So she gave us the weekend for free! We left late Friday evening and drove for hours, getting there early Saturday morning. The house was mostly in good repair and right on the Itchtucknee River. Beautiful. We had so much fun.
Addi liked being upstairs and watching everybody downstairs!

Round blanket

Okay, I wanted to try something other than a square blanket. So I saw a pattern for a round one at the store. I looked over the pattern, decided I could do. I put the pattern back on the shelf. I thought about the blanket for a couple of days, then I started. It was easy and fun. I am pleased with how it turned out. So soft!

Addi has an indoor slide!

With moving the kids bedrooms, we ended up with a bunkie board in the living room. Someone propped the board up against the couch. Addison thought this was a great plan. She would climb up the board and slide down.
Such fun! Look at her smile, her whole face tells the exciting story!
