Addi and I took a picture walk along the Peace River. This Egret was interesting to watch. It made me sad to see the plastic cups and trash in the river.

We also spent much time watching this bird. I love the reflection in the water. This walk was refreshing and beautiful.

Stuart and Raeleigh came home from school yesterday with their fifth grade shirts. Each class has a different color. They both like their shirts. Stuart says his is "good except the color"! This will be their Friday shirt until the end of the school year!

NJROTC visits an elementary school

Colton Lasanska, Jackie Hall, Sam Webecke, Jesse Wharton
FEb 23, 2012 I went with Samantha's NJROTC unit to Sallie Jones Elementary School. I went as their "official" photographer. Sallie Jones invited the cadets to come and tell their students about the ROTC program.
Before too many students came, Samantha read a book to Addi. Addi loves to go to ROTC events and watch Sam with her friends.
These two girls talked to Samantha for about 20 minutes. They were enthralled with everything she had to say!
Samantha also showed the kids how she spins her riffle. Look at the kids expressions they watched every move she made.4 Cadets and lots of admiring kids. Glad Samantha is part of a group that does community service and sets a good example for younger kids.

Feb 22, 2012 marks 20 years since I married Searls Webecke. I love this picture of the two of us. We were so happy to be married and very much in love. It has been 7 1/2 years since Searls has passed on. These last years has been challenging, good, sad, happy, growing. I am not at a point that I would not change loosing Searls. I have learned so much since his death and am a better person. I look forward to spending eternity with Searls. I love you Searls!

I have known for about 11 years that I have a food addiction. I have been working on it, but have not conquered it. However I know that if I continue with the Latter-day Saint Addiction Recovery Program and praying to and trusting in the Lord I will overcome my addiction.

While Jordan was cleaning out the garage, we came across this afghan. It was made by either Criag's Nanny or Great-Grandmother. There is one spot I want to fix, then we will be using it. I think it is pretty.

Craig loves these shoes. He has wanted to buy some for Addi for at least a year. He finally found some on sale. I know they are cute. However, I do not like that they leave glitter everywhere. Addi loves to wear them lots!

Our ward is working on a house for Habitat for Humanity. Jordan went Saturday and helped out. I am grateful that he is serving.
I couldn't resist this picture.
The same day, Samantha went over to help shingle a roof that her NJROTC unit is doing for Habitat for Humanity.

In January Craig asked the kids to come up with goals for our family. Raeleigh's goal was for our family to go to the temple more often. So we went on Feb 17, 2012. It was a great day. Samantha, Raeleigh and Addison stayed outside the whole time, enjoying the peace of the temple grounds.
Jordan, and Stuart got to do one baptism a piece for a family in our ward. This was Stuart's first time in the temple. He said that it was "good".
Craig and I did a session while all the kids waited outside. It was peaceful to be in the temple. Afterwards we took pictures around the temple. I love this picture of my boys, and Addi walking back to the car.

Our county has a program called CARE. It stands for Center for Abuse and Rape Emergencies. For our Relief Society meeting in February we had one of CARE representatives come and talk to us. She gave a lot of statistics and told us about their program. For about a month, the sisters had been bringing in supplies to donate to the center. We ended up with an entire table of items.
We filled baskets with the items. We put the above tags on the full baskets, hoping to pass on love to the victims the baskets will go to. When a women (and her children) come to the center to escape they will be given a basket.
Filling the baskets was like shopping without the checkout line. Most women love to shop that way!!
Raeleigh and her Activity Girls also helped with this service. They put these little hygine kits together for the children that come into the center.

Grandma Marsh's Doctrine and Covenants Comentary.

Feb 15, 2012 marks one year since my grandma Marsh (Janet A. Wheatley Marsh) has passed on. After she died I was given one of her books, Commentary on The Doctrine of Covenants. Grandma loved to read and learn from books (she was a high school english teacher). I just recently opened the book. Inside I found some unexpected treasures. Above are the tickets from March 2, 1985 when she and Grandpa went to the Polynesian Center and Dinner Buffet in Hawaii.
This bookmark reminds me of how Grandma lived her life. She had a big testimony of the Holy
Ghost and his guidance.
I have no idea of what this list means, but I love that my grandma wrote it. Grandma wrote me cards with poems in them for my birthday! Seeing her writing brings back memories of feeling loved everytime I received a card from grandma.
I have no idea what kind of flower this is. However, I love that it is in the book because Grandma loved flowers. She has a large garden in her yard. She worked outside every day that she could!
Grandma I miss you. Treasured are the memories I have of you and your council. I love you. Guess what, I have finally learned to love reading!

On Valentine's Day I put hearts on the kids doors. Written on the hearts are characteristics that I love about each person. Addi decided to take her hearts down as soon as I got them up! She is holding one of her hearts in the picture above.

Addi discovered her valentine chocolates before dinner!
Years ago I started having a family valentines dinner. This year we did it two days early, because I will not be home on Valentine's Day. I love to get out our valentine dishes and set the table pretty. Usually I put conversation hearts all over the table . This year I just did a box or bag of chocolate by each dinner plate. The missionaries were also here for the dinner. It was a nice meal.

Addi and I have been to Walmart 3 times this week. Each time she has been excited about this catipiller. She wanted to touch and hold the "bubbie" (that is what she calls all stuffed animals).
It was hard work for Addi to hold up her bubbie for this picture!
So happy to go "nite-nite" with her bubbie. Look at that bright smile :-)

I am so grateful for my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book. I love the stories in this book and am grateful for those who recorded the stories so that I could learn from them.
