Grandma Marsh's Doctrine and Covenants Comentary.

Feb 15, 2012 marks one year since my grandma Marsh (Janet A. Wheatley Marsh) has passed on. After she died I was given one of her books, Commentary on The Doctrine of Covenants. Grandma loved to read and learn from books (she was a high school english teacher). I just recently opened the book. Inside I found some unexpected treasures. Above are the tickets from March 2, 1985 when she and Grandpa went to the Polynesian Center and Dinner Buffet in Hawaii.
This bookmark reminds me of how Grandma lived her life. She had a big testimony of the Holy
Ghost and his guidance.
I have no idea of what this list means, but I love that my grandma wrote it. Grandma wrote me cards with poems in them for my birthday! Seeing her writing brings back memories of feeling loved everytime I received a card from grandma.
I have no idea what kind of flower this is. However, I love that it is in the book because Grandma loved flowers. She has a large garden in her yard. She worked outside every day that she could!
Grandma I miss you. Treasured are the memories I have of you and your council. I love you. Guess what, I have finally learned to love reading!
