After sleeping on the parade route, I was up for the beautiful unrise.Notice the double rainbow. This was a nice backdrop for the runners that were almost done with the race!
Cameron, my nephew, gave the runners a thumbs up as they passed.
Elayne my neice cheered for about 1 1/2 hours straight. She cheered the runners on, "You can do it, You're almost done, Don't give up!"
My mom breakfast burritos for those of us who slept on the route. Raymond and Jamie served the yummy burritos.
While waiting for the parade to make it down our way the kids ran around and some of us played games. Pictured: Mom, Raymond, Jamie and Ryker playing "Go Fish" with the family card game.
This is one of my favorite floats from the parade. It is very SWEET.
My nephew, Kyle, marched in the parade with the high school marching band. This is awesome, because the high school opens their summer band program up for middle school students. So...Kyle was able to join!
Santa in the summer was a great laugh! The parade was fun. Sleeping out was tiring and worth the memories. Glad I went.
