Hats

53 of the 68 hats that I have crocheted to donate to All Children's Hospital. The other 15 I have already given to the oncology unit at the hospital.
Our ward started to crochet hats in January for a humanitarian project. We are collecting them on Sunday to donate. I am so excited about this. Addison was given a few hats during the month that she was in the hospital after birth. Then when Jordan was in the hospital a month ago I crocheted to pass the time. So I donated those hats to the kids on the oncology floor. A nurse told me that I had made "four little girls, without any hair, very happy." This is a service project that is very close to my heart!

2010-2011 Varsity Basketball

Samanth #12 on the Varsity basketball team, second season! One of the few games Samantha got to start in!! She is very thrilled to be one of the first five players on the court!

Play some good "D"

Take that ball!

Her free throw!

Get the ball for Charlotte!

Samantha has fun with basketball. She works hard to improve and is a determined whenever on the court. Her team had a hard season with 3 wins and 21 losses. They played hard for half of each game, so hopefully they will play hard for entire games next year!!

15 months old!

When we can find the balls, Addi loves to play with her gumball machine! She also claps the balls together before putting them back into te top.

Her tongue has been hanging out lots lately. She has a terrible runny nose and a cough.

This is her "I'm trying to be happy even though I have a yucky cold" face.

Addison waves hello and goodbye (she has been doing this for a few months), sometimes she will even say "ha" (hi) or "ba" (bye). She loves to go up and down the stairs by herself. Addis is so happy when the kids get home from school and they play with her. She loves to be outside in her swing!

We are all so happy to have beautiful Addi in our family!

A silly mistake!

On Saturday, we went to a ward dinner. Everyone brought soup and sandwiches to share.
Jordan stuck our ladle in the side handle of our crock pot before dropping it off in the kitchen. After the meal was served, I noticed that our ladle was still in the handle and that there was another ladle in the soup! You can see the white handle of the ladle in the crock pot and the scoop of the ladle in the handle of the crock!
This is such a typical thing to do when we get to busy: not notice the obvious!

-historian for book club
-weightlifting team
-french club
-peer mediator

-baskeatball team

Jordan- middle school band night (playing with the high school band at 2 football games)
-jazz band

Stuart and Raeleigh - Peer mediator

-chorus

And we also go to Patrick's football games each week!

Whew!

No shelves needed

Addison has decided that the floor is better than shelves for the DVDs and CDs. Either that or she likes to watch us pick up her messes!
We love our cute little baby!

Addi is So Sad

Addi's face is so sad. About an hour after all the kids had gone to school, Addison started looking around for them. She crawled to the bathroom, pulled herself up, banged on the door and started crying. This is what she does when she sees someone go into the bathroom. I guess she thought her brothers or sisters were hiding from her. She didn't even want me to hold her. Eventually Addi did come to me, I consoled her and we took a nap.

Aunt Eileen's Blanket

Craig's aunt sent her baby blanket for Addison. Craig and I were both excited about Addi receiving such a special gift.

The blanket is beautiful. It is pink and white and hand quilted. I wish I knew who made the blanket. Thanks Aunt Eileen!

Silly kiddos!

Balancing a book on my head is something that I have never been able to do. However my kids can do it!

First Day of School

The first day of school was Aug 9. Stuart and Raeleigh are the only ones that I took pictures of. :( Both of the kids wanted Addi to be in their pictures. They in 4th grade. Their classes are across the hall from each other.

I think this will be a great school year!
